A very unusual and stunning black and gold rope necklace by American designers Trifari.

This is a single rope, with gold and black twisted threads.
46cm end to end
with a spring ring clasp.

Trifari jewellery is exceptional, very well made and beautiful. Its head designer was Alfred Phillippe who was also head designer for Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. All Trifari jewellery was stamped. This piece is Crown Trifari© - 1955 - 1969
Trifari even developed its own non-tarnishing, gold-tone alloy named Trifarium.
All the jewellery on my web page is Vintage. Between 90yrs and 40yrs old. 1930s - 1980s respectively. photographs are in close-up to show any wear. please inspect them closely.
None of the jewellery has been cleaned so photographs may show accumulated dust possibly from when it was manufactured.

Very good - Very minor evidence of handling with no major flaws or wear
Good - moderate evidence of wear, visible scratches and marks
OK - metal back of piece is very worn but front is fine.
